Mark McCabe
Board President
​
Mark has been a resident of Naples since 1982. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Florida Atlantic University in 1988 and an Advanced Banking Degree from Louisiana State University in 2004. He has worked in the banking industry since 1988 in various capacities that include loan office, assistant vice president, and vice president. He served on several Collier County School District Board sub-committees from 2009 through 2013. In addition, he has been a Board Member of six charter schools in Florida (in Lee County and Manatee County). Mark currently serves as Board President at Gulf Coast Charter Academy, Oak Creek Charter School of Bonita Springs, and Parrish Charter Academy.
Fugang (Frank) Zhou​

Frank was born and raised in Shanghai, China, and moved to Naples, FL in 1999. He earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science in Engineering from the University of Florida and earned his MBA from Regis University. He worked in the Information Technology field for over 15 years as a Programmer, Analyst, and Manager in areas such as software development, healthcare management, and property and casualty insurance, and owns and manages several small businesses. He has been involved with many organizations devoted to assisting youth education.
Helen Deitriech

Mrs. Deitriech is a real estate broker managing the operations of a successful real estate business. The scope of her responsibilities include research, project planning, transaction coordination, advertising, computer technology integration, rental management and customer service. Mrs. Deitriech, is also the Vice President and Co-Founder of DaBeach.com, Inc., an all-inclusive, interactive social community offering beach related goods and services. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Factors Engineering and Psychology, she worked in both research & design, and applied engineering. Mrs. Deitriech is a founding board member of Gulf Coast Charter Academy South.

Gwen DaPore

Gwen earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Ohio State University in 1968. Gwen began teaching in 1969 and relocated with her family to Centerville, Ohio in 1972 to begin working for the West Carrollton City Schools. She worked for this district for the next twenty-nine years. Gwen earned a master’s degree in educational leadership (Principal, Curriculum and Instruction, Supervision) from Wright State University in 1984. Ms. DaPore relocated to Florida in 2009 to assist in creating and building the Prep and Fitness Schools in SW Florida. She became the principal of Bonita Springs Preparatory and Fitness Academy. She facilitated the growth and development of two other Prep and Fitness Academies until 2013. She became a Board Member of Oak Creek Charter School from 2013-2014. In 2022, Gwen retired and is now volunteering as a board member for Oak Creek Charter School of Bonita Springs, Parrish Charter Academy, and Gulf Coast Charter Academy.
